Dockside at Duke’s Seattle Wedding | Kaitlynn & Felicia

Kaitlynn and Felicia are a fantastic couple that were a joy to photograph! Their family and friends were a lot of fun to talk to and a bit of a walk down memory lane for me because I went to school with some of them. Dockside at Dukes is a newer wedding venue that sits right on the southern shore of Lake Union. It has a great outdoor space for the ceremony even though it was a little smoky. What a wonderful wedding!

Imperia Lake Union Wedding in Seattle | Shannon & Jeremy

Shannon and Jeremy are a great couple and they made photographing their wedding day a joy! After some getting-ready images of Shannon and her crew, we went to the Washington Park Arboretum for the couple, family, and bridal party portraits. I love the Arboretum and all of the different places to photograph even if the fall leaves are a little delayed this year. Then, we went to the Imperia Lake Union for the wedding and reception. The Imperia Lake Union has a fantastic ceremony room and dancefloor area that makes for some super cool images. Also, I love night shots with their sign!

MV Skansonia Wedding in Seattle | Katie & Connor

Katie and Connor are a very fun and funny couple. I had a great time at their beautiful wedding on the MV Skansonia. The Skansonia is a stationary ferry boat docked at the north end of Lake Union with some of the best views of Seattle of any venue in the area. It was such a hot day that one of the groomsmen sprayed champagne all over himself. I've rarely seen a wedding party laugh harder. Congratulations!

Imperia Lake Union Wedding Seattle | Emily and Scott

Emily and Scott work in broadcast journalism. It is always a privilege to photograph a wedding for people that work with images every day. In addition to that, they have a great group of friends and are a lot of fun to hang out with. Their beautiful wedding day started with getting ready at the Hotel Monaco in downtown Seattle. Then we went to Gas Works Parks for the portraits before heading to Imperia Lake Union. They had their wedding at Fairview Park just down the street from Imperia before heading up for dinner and reception.

Seward Park Engagement Portraits | Chelsea & Josh

I first met Chelsea when she was about 15 when she acted with my daughter in high school. Now, a decade later, I got to photograph her and Josh for the engagement portraits at Seward Park in Seattle. We did the shoot late in the evening with the idea of getting some awesome sunlight streaming through the forest. I think we nailed it!

Seattle Micro Wedding at Kerry Park | Meeran & Jaewoo

Meeran and Jaewoo are super cool, super nice people. They had big plans for their wedding. What we did was a beautiful micro wedding at Kerry Park with some portraits in Fremont and Ballard before the ceremony. Kerry Park is a fantastic place to get a great view of Seattle. It is totally cool to get married there without a reservation as long as you don’t make people move or set up chairs and equipment. Anyway, congratulations to Meeran and Jaewoo!

Elopement in Seattle | Lisa & Chris

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Lisa and Chris’ elopement. It was the first wedding that I’ve photographed after the lockdown for the coronavirus and Covid-19. It was a joy to be back photographing a wedding! Lisa and Chris are also fantastic people to hang out with, so they made it especially fun for me to be back doing what I love. Lisa and Chris had originally planned on having an elopement at the Seattle Municipal Court with a dozen guests. They ended up getting married in their backyard with one of my favorite officiants, Annemarie Juhlian, performing the ceremony. Before their ceremony, we went to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park for some portraits.

They are a great couple and it was fun to spend their wedding day with them!

Imperia Lake Union Cafe Wedding in Seattle | Erin & Adam

Erin and Adam had a beautiful, cold fall day for their Seattle wedding. We went to the cold and windy Gas Works Park for some portraits. It was a little too cold by the water to stay long, but we hid near the actual gas works to take some more cool and interesting images. Then we went over to the beautiful Lake Union Cafe for their wedding and reception.
