Dr. Anderson & The Bus | Small Business Branding Photography

I was at Dr. Anderson’s dental office taking some branding photographs for his company. I had done some photographs of him working, portraits of Dr. Anderson and his staff, some photographs of his facilities and all the things I do during a branding session for a small business. I was commenting on his very cool business card holders that looked like the front of an older style VW Bus. It turns out that Dr Anderson is an afficianado and had a couple of restored VW buses. So we made plans to meet him at a park near my house for a few photographs of him and his baby. Literally photos with his baby, family, and also with the VW bus that evening. It is just one more example of how cool my job is as a photographer - one thing leads to another and another fun photoshoot emerges.

Seattle Business Headshots | Branding Photographer

As a photographer, I love creating portraits of people. One of the few times adults have their individual portraits taken is for their business headshots or whatever style of portraits work for the company. I work with a lot of companies that want a more relaxed take on the typical business marketing portrait. I also try to throw in some portraits that push the boundaries a bit into a more editorial style so that the marketing people have options if they need some creative photographs for their social media.

Seattle Personal Branding Photography | Christi

Personal branding photography is a new term for something I have been doing for clients for a couple of decades - creating a group of images that they can use to market themselves. Whether they use one as a headshot on LinkedIn, a poster for speaking engagement, creating an advertising piece to send to their clients, or just different places on their website, having the images help them meet their marketing goals without repeatedly using the same image.
